Jerry's Brain 101
What an LLM is, what you pay for, and how ClickSorcery routes it — honestly.
€79 Desktop Pro is the ClickSorcery desktop license — agents, memory, integrations, and orchestration. It does not buy ChatGPT-style unlimited AI. Jerry thinks through an LLM (large language model) running on your hardware (Ollama) or in a cloud API you connect with your own key.
Three words worth knowing
LLM (model)
The AI that reads your message and writes a reply — e.g. Llama, Claude, GPT-4o, DeepSeek. Different models cost different amounts and suit different jobs.
API
A paid (or free-tier) service on the internet that runs the model for you. Your laptop sends text; the API sends back Jerry's answer.
API key
Your personal password to that service — created in Groq, OpenRouter, DeepInfra, Anthropic, etc. You paste it once into ClickSorcery Vault; it never leaves your machine unencrypted.

Tokens ≈ word pieces. A short reply might be 200 tokens; a long research thread can be 10 000+. Memory and RAG context count too.
How ClickSorcery handles the brain
- Vault — All API keys encrypted in the Electron main process — masked in UI, not in the browser bundle.
- Brain = Auto + multi-tier — When an agent has no manual model, ClickSorcery tries Groq → DeepInfra → OpenRouter by role (voice, code, strategy). Failover on rate limits. Toggle in Settings → Channels.
- Model Optimizer — Compare agent models against live price lists — swap to cheaper or faster options with approval.
- Budget monitor — Estimated spend by agent and session — not a vendor invoice, but enough to see drift before it hurts.
- Local option — 16 GB+ RAM or GPU? Run Ollama at home — €0 API for inference, same Jerry UI.
Minimum start (recommended first week)
You do not need three accounts on day one.
- Install ClickSorcery — 7-day trial, Magic Installer picks Cloud Commander on 8 GB laptops.
- Create a free Groq account → generate API key → paste in Settings → Vault (enables fast tier-1 routing).
- Create OpenRouter OR DeepInfra → add ~€5–10 credit → paste API key in Vault (backup tier + premium models).
- Chat with Jerry — watch Settings → Budget or the status-bar chip for estimates.
- Optional: add the third provider later for full Groq → DeepInfra → OpenRouter chain.
Full multi-tier chain (optional power setup)
When Brain = Auto and multi-tier routing is on, ClickSorcery walks this ladder until one provider answers. Each needs a free signup and an API key in Vault.
Groq
Tier 1 — fast & cheapGenerous free tier for small models (Llama 3.1 8B). Paid tiers for heavy use.
- Sign up → API Keys → Create key
- Paste into ClickSorcery Vault under Groq
DeepInfra
Tier 2 — reliable mid-rangePay-as-you-go. Load ~€5–10 to learn your burn rate.
- Sign up → Billing → add credit
- API Keys → create → paste in Vault under DeepInfra
OpenRouter
Tier 3 — quality & 400+ modelsOne wallet for Claude, GPT-4o, DeepSeek, and cheap models. ~€10 starter credit is enough for a realistic trial month if you use Model Optimizer.
- Sign up → Credits → add funds
- Keys → create → paste in Vault under OpenRouter
Honest tip: put €5–10 on OpenRouter or DeepInfra (not both required at once). Groq free tier covers a lot of routine chat. After two weeks you'll know whether you're a €10 or €40/month user.
In the app: Settings → Channels → enable multi-tier routing. Settings → Vault → connect keys. Per-agent overrides still win over Auto.
